Stephen Borgman, LCPC
Hello, and welcome! I'm a licensed clinical professional counselor.
As a counselor, my goal is to bring you hope, understanding, and positive solutions to whatever challenges you are facing.
I’ve spent sixteen years working with children, adolescents and adults in residential, hospital and educational settings.
My approach is relational, cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused.
The goal of the counseling process is to help you solve problem situations and develop unused resources and opportunities effectively.
My areas of expertise and focus include child/adolescent treatment, anger management, Aspergers, autism, ADD/ADHD, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, parenting/family issues, and men’s issues.
For Christian clients, I specialize in Christian counseling.
If you’d like to get to know me a bit more informally, listen to my interview with Dr. Erica Goodstone, founder of Healthy Baby Boomers Network.
In addition to counseling, I love blogging about personal growth development both here, and at Personal Success Factors.
I also blog about positive solutions for the autism spectrum at Spectrum Solutions for Psychology Today, and at Thrive With Aspergers.
I'm active on Twitter and Facebook or LinkedIn.
Also feel free to view my online resume.
I received my graduate degree in counseling psychology from Trinity International University.
